TB to 2021 when I first put the pool up. Going there this weekend to start it up again. Funny story, so my father gets bored a lot and is always looking for something to do. Over the winter the pool would get water on top of the cover and he would you out there and syphon it off. He kept doing this over and over again and was wondering why the water in the pool below the cover kept getting lower and lower. I go out there and he goes to show me and I nearly had a heart attack. He managed to syphon out about half of the water in the pool. What he did not understand is that water from the pool can accumulate on top of the cover and when you take it off more water from the pool accumulates on the cover and your are really just removing the water from the pool over and over again. Thank god we had a mild winter and the structure of the pool is probably ok. So I am going out there this weekend to refill the pool. It will then be opened in a few weeks. Read more
