MINI RANT ABOUT MY PERSONAL LIFE My job sucks lol we all want to quit, we're understaffed and underpaid. We've had 3 full timers leave in as many months. 2 staff are currently getting store transfers (including our retail manager) and they both had to take our store owner to HR because he wouldn't let them go. I've been here for 3 years and I love my coworkers but hate the management. I asked for 3 shifts off (I have over 70 hrs of leave available) to spend time with my parents and my manager said no. I dread going to work more than I ever have. I come home exhausted and grumpy. I want to quit and get out of retail pharmacy for a while but I need it for my degree. I'm considering cutting my hours to one shift a week and picking up another non-pharmacy related job but im already so stretched with study and work and OF etc. Ugh idk what to do. Advice would be appreciated β€ I also dont want to quit and give myself a bad reputation because the pharmacy world is so small. And I wanted to stay until my intern year (2 years from now) because the franchise I work for is the best for interns, but if I quit im worried they won't want me because word will spread. Ahhhh idk.
