As we have already said, the Perhentian Islands of Malaysia are so small that there are no cars, no roads, no motorcycles on them. The island is only about 4 kilometers long and sometimes no more than 500 meters wide. But still, there are a lot of mysterious and beautiful places hidden inside the island. The paths leading into the dense jungle look fabulous and bewitching. The jungle is so thick that the light of the sun can hardly penetrate the foliage and when you raise your head up you can see huge 30-meter palm trees, which is a little scary considering that heavy coconuts can fall from them from such a height.
