We have never seen so many monitor lizards in one place and such huge ones as in the Perhentian Islands of Malaysia. They crawled around our tent, but when you approached them, they immediately ran away, so we were not afraid of them, since they were probably more afraid of us. But omg how huge they are, especially the old dinosaur in the last photo, straight from the Jurassic period. You can just see its enormous size compared to the can of beer lying nearby.
